Did you know there is a whole other field of nutrition that focuses on herbs called herbalism. Herbalism is the art and science of using plants for healing and applying herbs for promoting health. Luckily, aside from herbs’ healing aspects, herbs can also help aid us on our weight loss journeys by decreasing appetite and stimulating weight loss (traditionalmedicinals.com).

Using herbs to help heal is what herbalism is about. Surprisingly, herbs also help aid in weight loss. Developing that human-plant connection and utilizing nature to help us heal is essential on our wellness journey. As a registered dietitian, it is important to note that plants and herbs do play a very important role on transforming into the greatest version of ourselves.

In this article, I will explore several herbs that have been seen to have a positive effect in helping people lose weight and boost their immune system.

Focusing on incorporating herbs into our meals can work towards helping on our wellness and weight loss journeys. It is has been found that certain herbs have been proven to help promote weight loss.
