What You Resists- Persists
Have you ever tried so hard to fix something and for whatever the reason, things just would not change? I know I have plenty. And what I mean by change, things may just keep falling down and the problems remain unsolved.
Every time you put more into it to better the situation, things just never really change. This brings to mind the song, “I tried so hard and got so far, but in the end it doesn’t even matter, I had to fall to lose it all, but in the end it doesn’t even matter.”
What this song translates into is sometimes you can put everything into a situation and still not get the results you desire. You may give your absolute all and it all comes crashing down, knowing you did whatever you could to keep it together. What does this mean?
Well, the Universe has a way of showing us when something no longer serves us, we need to walk away and release it. It means we need to change our approach and not be so heavily fixed on our desired outcome.
Sometimes, this even takes us walking away from something, someone, someplace, a project, career, job, city or town that we would rather not, but due to our destined path, the Universe is letting us know by a tower moment, that things will continue to crash down if we do the same thing over and over.
As we know, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. In essence, what we resists, persists.
As I’ve learned through spirituality and watching tarot, sometimes the Universe has to have a person lose everything they’ve known or have things crash down on them, for the greatest good. You see this theme in Greek mythology and the story of one losing everything to gain a new portal in perceiving life.
A grander life perception- one that does not limit them- or cause self-imprisonment. Sometimes these harsh realities are ways the Divine is really helping us get on our right path- even though it may not feel that way due to pain, comfortability of what we’ve always known; but if we do not take heed, we may stay stuck in that same old cycle- knowing we are not truly living our truth.
What we resist, persists and if we do not adapt to the changes that the Divine and the Universe know that we are in alignment with, our true knowing and authenticity, we will continue in a cycle of despair, never living up to our full potential. We can manifest our greatest desires, our greatest life, our north node, our destiny.
Free will gives us the option to choose, but what we feel in our heart cannot be overlooked. Overanalyzing and thinking too much can sometimes be our worst enemies and I know these obstacles are things I have struggled with. Take a leap of faith and go for a brand new beginning!
You have the power within you to make miracles happen! I do believe in miracles and know God and the Universe will guide us with signs and synchronicities.
We may live a miserable existence because we are not aligning with our higher self, our true authentic selves, but maybe following something we feel “we should be following” for whatever reason. However, that something we feel we should be following, may in all actuality be hindering our growth, progress and overall happiness. It is still our free will to choose though!
We learn lessons on our journey and need to understand that as long as we keep evolving and growing, we will continue to learn and change. The goal is to take that knowledge and use it for our betterment knowing we are doing what makes us happy to follow our divine path and purpose.
Often, we may feel like life is very unfair and why is God and the Divine allowing this to happen. If we can view the situation in a different light, we can manifest and be the magician that we were always meant to be. This is what I have learned and continue to manifest slowly transforming into my greatest self, as difficult as it may be at times.
Slowly transforming into the greatest version of ourselves is part of our mission and doing things out of love is vital. Love will always overcome fear and ultimately, will be followed by abundance and whatever else the Universe and Divine have planned for us.
It may be a long, unwinding road, but one worth taking for your ultimate fulfillment. It is always how we feel though and really boils down to what we want in this lifetime.
Go within, use your intuition, pray and do what you know that you need to in order to overcome the obstacles and live up to your greatest potential, becoming the greatest version of you!
Know that the road paved may be difficult, but with will and perseverance, you can achieve what you desire in this lifetime and know you had the power within you all along.
